Confession (Mikoto Mikoshiba X Reader)

“Mikorin come on!” you shouted to the red head running behind you “Hold on (Name)! there’s no need to rush” ‘What do you mean no need to rush! He’ll get away!” The both of you were chasing after an ice cream truck, “Mikorin hurry up!” “W-wait I’m coming I’m coming” When in reality he’s nowhere close to you. “Geez, Mikorin”  you stop in your tracks and squat down your back facing him, “Here it’ll be faster this way”. There’s no response, you click your tongue “Didn’t you hear me? I said-“ you stopped, staring at a red-faced Mikorin.
“Mikorin why are you blushing!?”,“B-Because t-that’s really embarrassing, plus we’re in public (Name)!”. You sigh “I swear Mikorin you blush for everything, even if it’ just a simple hug”. You take his hand making him run with you, ‘Geez I was just gonna give him a piggyback ride but I guess not’.
Somehow you successfully caught up to the ice cream truck, and got your favorite ice cream, as did Mikorin. While eating your ice cream you walk over to a nice spot under a shaded tree “Oh, Mikorin let’s sit over here!” “Sure (Name)”. After sitting down, Mikorin scoots a little closer to you and leans his head on your shoulder with a pink hue on his face. “Hey Mikorin I’ve been meaning to ask you, Why do you blush so much when you’re with me?”. His face is now a shade darker than he was before, “T-That’s b-because...I.. (Name) I like you!” and in a flash you felt warm lips on yours, it was so sudden all you could do was widen your eyes in surprise.
As he pulled away you noticed his eyes were still closed shut and his face a deep shade of red, with that you yourself started to blush. “M-Mikorin! You kissed me!” his face explodes in even more embarrassment as you get even closer to him, doing so he immediately covers his face with his hands. At this rate he’ll die of embarrassment! “Oi Mikorin~” you say teasingly “I like you too I always have.” You remove his hands from his face slowly, smiling warmly at him “R-Really?” “Of course dummy If not I wouldn’t of kissed you back” “What do you mean kiss-“  you cut him off by kissing him. “So does that mean we’re together now!” “O-Obviously, (Name)!” “Heh, you’re too cute Mikorin!~”.
